Katie Shelton loves that gardens have the ability to bring people together. She enjoys sharing plants with fellow enthusiasts, and jumps at the opportunity to get others excited about gardening. Her home in River Heights is known for its spring bulbs and fairy gardens. She loves watching her three children play in the dirt alongside her and is a sucker for buying any plant they show an interest in. She is learning more about native plants and beginning to incorporate more sustainable practices in her yard. She hopes to inspire others to do the same. Her garden is her happy place. After all, nothing turns a bad day around like a fuzzy bumblebee bum, dusted with pollen, shimmying out of a blossom.
